Tonight I was invited to attend a charity event to benefit the Halifax Health Foundation.  Tickets were a $1,000 and then your name was entered to win a Chevrolet Corvette!  Upon arrival we had the option of riding around the track in a pace car.  I accepted and the car went racing over 120 mph around the track!  It was thrilling to say the least and such a wonderul opportunity.  My job was to eliminate the names as they were drawn from the wheel for the raffle .  The last name left won the car! It was an exciting evening and a great turnout to benefit such a wonderful organization.  Mayor Glenn Richey was on hand to emcee and even offer the 10 finalists $2,000 EACH instead of the car, but everyone declined leaving the Degreare’s a brand new Corvette!  Here are some photos from the event below-

Today Jackie Raulerson and I went to Duran Golf Course for the YMCA golf tournament.  Money was raised to help the YMCA facilities that benefit children and adults.  After a hot day on the course we were ready to welcome the players into a delicious lunch and awards presentation.  After we had given out the last of the prizes for the raffle, we headed down to the range!  My dad is a golf professional so we got a few pointers and hit a bucket of balls!  To find out more information about the YMCA go to www.ymca.net

It’s here!! Everything seems to be flying by and before I knew it, it was time to head to Miami.  My sister queens and I went down to Hollywood, FL for a 6:30 am call at Tel-Air Productions!  Taping our intros, interviews, and modeling prizes at the beautiful Westin Diplomat kept us busy throughout the day.  Finishing up by 12:30 we were excited to spend some off-time by the beaches and also catch up on some lost sleep from the night before!  Tomorrow we have a WHOLE day off before orientation and are planning to relax!  Below are some pictures from Day 1

This weekend a fashion show supporting the charity Operation Caring Through Sharing was held.  Megan and I headed to Ormond Beach to greet guests at the door, help out at rehearsals, assist with the silent auction and help the models backstage!  Operation Caring Through Sharing is a local non-profit organization dedicated to stop hunger in Florida. The org. started with one woman cooking meals for local families out of her kitchen, today the organization (in its 4th year) provides more than 5,625 meals per month!!!  A very special thank you to Brenda and Casie for letting us be part of such an amazing organization.  For more information about Operation Caring Through Sharing, please visit their website at http://www.octs04.org/

This past weekend I went to Las Vegas for the 2008 Miss USA pageant!  I was very thrilled to root on Jessica Rafalowski, Miss Florida USA and Micaela Johnson, Miss Nebraska USA.  Micaela and I cheered together for the Dallas Cowboys so it was great being there for her! They were both beautiful and did a wonderful job.  It was an amazing learning experience and it made me extremely excited to compete in Miss Florida USA this July!  Below are some pictures from our great weekend, enjoy!

This saturday the Miss Ormond Beach pageant was held.  My sister queen, Megan Clementi, and I choreographed the opening number to a Viva Las Vegas theme!  We held Jessica Rafalowski, Miss Florida USA’s, send off party, as well.  We wish Jessica the best as she leaves to compete in the 2008 Miss USA pageant.  Jessica along with Megan and myself  were the hosts for the night and had a blast!  Between a mock questioning with Miss Florida USA herself and a great group of contestants Denesha Jenkins claimed the title of Miss Ormond Beach 2009!

The next day everyone set out for 18 holes of golf at the Beautiful LPGA golf course in Daytona Beach.  Awards were presented at the end along with a huge thanks to all those who made the event so successful! 

Thursday night was the dinner for all those participating in the NASCAR Celebrity Golf Classic tournament hosted by Betty Jane France at the 500 Dream Experience .  There was a great turn out that evening, and they honored their main sponsor, who is Kitson&Partner.  Mayor Glenn Richey was on hand to say a few words and also, present the awards.  It was for a great cause and each year they have raised more money with some of the benefits going to Speediatrics at Halifax Hospital.  Below are a few pictures from the event!

Saturday was the Miss Orlando, Miss City Beautiful, and Miss Winter Park Outstanding Teen and Miss Pageants.  I was honored to be one of the judges for the teen division.  It was an amazing experience that allowed me to see what being on the other side is all about!  We had a tough job that no one would envy because all of the teens exemplified what being an outstanding teen is all about.  My sister queen, the current Miss Volusia County USA, Megan Clementi, passed on her Miss Orlando title and also, gave some great performances throughout the show.  I was so proud of her!  Here are some pictures from the evening-
